Prof. Marzena Dominiak, President of the Polish Dental Society and Vice-Rector for International Relations at the Wroclaw Medical University, has been appointed to the Special Committee of the FDI World Dental Parliament of the World Dental Federation (FDI). Prof. Marzena Dominiak in a new international role
Prof. Marzena Dominiak — President of the Polish Dental Society and Vice-Rector for International Relations at Wroclaw Medical University — has been appointed to the Special Committee of the FDI World Dental Parliament. This appointment highlights the growing role of Polish dentistry in shaping global health policy.
The FDI is the world’s largest dental organization, comprising over 200 national dental associations. One of FDI’s main goals is the implementation of Vision 2030: delivering optimal oral health for all and actively contributing to public health protection worldwide.
Long-standing commitment to FDI activities
From 2017 to 2024, Prof. Marzena Dominiak was a member of the FDI Standing Committee on Education, co-developing educational strategies for dentists around the world. In her new role on the Special Committee, she will collaborate with experts from Canada, Germany, Japan, and other countries on topics that go beyond the scope of standing committees.

Profile of Prof. Marzena Dominiak
Prof. Marzena Dominiak is a graduate of the Dentistry Division of the Faculty of Medicine at the Wroclaw Medical University. She holds a second-degree specialization in dental surgery. In 2010, she earned her postdoctoral degree at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. Since 2008, she has headed the Department and Clinic of Dental Surgery at Wroclaw Medical University. Since 2017, she has served as President of the Polish Dental Society and has been actively involved in the structures of the FDI.
